Aimed to nurture new and young talents in sailing. This year’s event will be held from 14th -17th February. These young sailors were exposed to a lot of valuable experiences as they have sailed in numerous sailing conditions in Langkawi. The valuable experience and important lesson will help them excel at the international youth competition.

The Langkawi International Maritime & Aerospace Exhibition (LIMA) is the largest show of its kind within the Asia Pacific region. Its impressive list of international exhibitors and suppliers is more than matched by the supportive presence of industry elites, which range from senior Government officials, and military and civil delegates, to industry movers and shakers and more.

Malaysia will be hosting its third FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour by the beach. With 32 top male and female beach volleyball players from over 16 countries competing for the country’s first title. Langkawi will be the only ASEAN nation to host the tournament and it is sanctioned by the Federation Internationale de Volleyball.

It’s back to 10 stages as this year’s Le Tour de Langkawi, Asia’s premier stage race, returns with the grueling climb up to Cameron Highlands serving as the main highlight in the 2.HC (hors category) race scheduled to commence in end of March.

Experience the thrill of navigating Langkawi’s legendary heritage sites, flat open vistas, challenging gradients and fast track descents as Langkawi open its door to the RHB Langkawi Ride 2019.

Due to an overwhelming respond from the local and international participants, The Tuba Trail Run is back for more with a new set of difficult challenging courses and trails. Set in a less explored wilderness of Tuba and Dayang Bunting Island, contestants are to pass through some of Langkawi natural wonders and amazing landscape while challenging their strength and stamina. The 2019 edition includes three categories namely, 4 kilometers, 15 kilometers and 30 kilometers routes.

The Asian Junior Tennis ATF 14U Langkawi 2019 will be held in Langkawi, as one of the sports events. Langkawi will host this 6 days of epic tennis tournament to international and local teams and is expected to attract spectators from inside and outside of Langkawi.

Runkawi offering 5/10/21km distances on 13 July 2019. The Runkawi Half Marathon Night Run 2019 will be held in Langkawi, as one of the sports events. Langkawi will host this night running events to international and local teams and is expected to attract spectators from inside and outside of Langkawi.

The second edition Langkawi Cat Show will be held at MIEC Hall. Bringing an showcase of the various species of cat, and attracts all cat lovers around the island.

Langkawi Cup Golf Championship, will be held at the magnificent Ernie Els championship design golf course at the foothill of the of the majestic Mount Machincang, with rolling greens, panoramic tees and impeccable fairways contoured with sand traps and water hazards, the professional golfers will compete for a many grand prizes.

The Langkawi Funride Jamboree will be held in Langkawi, as one of the sports events. Langkawi will host this of epic cycling tournament to international and local teams and is expected to attract spectators from inside and outside of Langkawi.

The Langkawi International Beach Soccer will be held in Langkawi, as one of the sports events. Langkawi will host this of epic beach soccer tournament to international and local teams and is expected to attract spectators from inside and outside of Langkawi.

The Lawn Bowls Mahsuri International Mixed Pair Competition will be held in Langkawi, as one of the sports events. Langkawi will host this 3 days of epic lawn bowls game to international and local teams and is expected to attract spectators from inside and outside of Langkawi.

The GFNY Malaysia 2019 will be held in Langkawi, as one of the sports events. Langkawi will host this epic cycling tournament to international and local teams and is expected to attract spectators from inside and outside of Langkawi.

The Langkawi International Extreme Festival will be held in Langkawi, as one of the sports events. Langkawi will host this epic extreme games tournament to international and local teams and is expected to attract spectators from inside and outside of Langkawi.

This is a relatively new festival that celebrates the wide range of birds, butterflies and wildlife in Langkawi. There are recorded 226 species of birds including the Great Hornbill, the rare Brown Winged King Fisher etc and over 500 butterflies. One of the key objectives is to build a bird & butterfly list for the island. The festival will also include activities like Eco & Nature Walk at Gunung Raya mountain, Nature Workshops & Talks conducted by renowned naturalists of the island, and Nature Trade & Exhibition Fair where various related items would be on sale.

This event will be the 6^th Ironman Malaysia in Langkawi to be organized since 2011. About 1,200 athletes will compete in the enduring of 3.8km swimming, 42km running and 182km cycling. Winners to be crowned a world a true Ironman and qualify among 40 athletes for the Ironman World Championship in Kailua Kona, Hawaii. This is among the toughest event on earth!

The Kedah Royal Muay Thai International Championship will be held in Langkawi, as one of the sports events. Langkawi will host this 2 days of epic Muay Thai tournament to international and local teams and is expected to attract spectators from inside and outside of Langkawi.

OCEANMAN represents the open water swimming events series on international scale and the premium swimming event brand. Langkawi will host this 1 day of epic swimming tournament to international and local swimmers and is expected to attract spectators from inside and outside of Langkawi.

The Raja Muda Selangor International Regatta will be held in Langkawi, as one of the sports events. Langkawi will host this of epic regatta tournament to international and local teams and is expected to attract spectators from inside and outside of Langkawi.
