3rd Langkawi Goodwill Games Open International for the Disable 2025

Lawn bowls for persons with disabilities (also known as para lawn bowls or adaptive lawn bowls) is an inclusive sport that allows individuals with various physical, sensory, or intellectual impairments to participate competitively and recreationally. It is governed by the International Bowls for the Disabled (IBD) and is supported by many national federations worldwide—including in Malaysia.

‍ What is Lawn Bowls for the Disabled?

Lawn bowls for persons with disabilities is adapted to accommodate a wide range of abilities, using specific rules, assistive devices, or support personnel as needed. It maintains the same core objective: to roll biased bowls so they stop close to a smaller ball called the “jack.”
