The Paragliding Association of Malaysia (PLUM), with the support of Langkawi Development Authority (LADA), Tourism Malaysia, Kedah Tourism, and local agencies, is pleased to announce the upcoming Langkawi International Paragliding Fly-In 2025.

Event Overview

The festival will welcome over 30 paragliders from Malaysia and abroad, making Langkawi a global destination for air sports enthusiasts. The event also coincides with Merdeka celebrations, adding a patriotic spirit to the skies of Langkawi.

Key Activities

• Solo & Tandem Flights – Open for both experienced pilots and the public who wish to experience paragliding.

• Mini XC Cross-Country Challenge – A test of skill and endurance across Langkawi’s natural landscapes.

• Aerobatic Demonstrations – Exciting aerial stunts performed by professional pilots.

• “Fly with Flag” Merdeka Segment – A patriotic showcase in conjunction with Malaysia’s Independence Day.

Objective

The Langkawi International Paragliding Fly-In aims to:

• Promote Langkawi as a premier sports tourism destination.

• Encourage wider participation in aero-sports.

• Celebrate the spirit of Merdeka in a unique and memorable way.
