Langkawi Asian Beach Tug of War Championships 2025

The Langkawi Asian Beach Tug of War Championships 2025 is set to take place from 24th to 26th October at the scenic Tanjong Rhu Beach, Langkawi Island, Malaysia. This exciting event, jointly organised by the Asian Tug of War Federation (ATWF), Malaysian Tug of War Federation (MTWF), and supported by key organisations such as Tourism Malaysia, LADA, and the Ministry of Youth and Sports, promises thrilling competition and vibrant cultural exchange.

The championship will feature both national and international categories, including men’s, women’s, and mixed teams, ranging from senior divisions to junior U23 and under-19 categories. National winners in senior categories stand a chance to win prize money of up to RM5,000, while junior and mixed teams can win up to RM3,000. The Asian Championship titles will award medals and trophies, highlighting prestige and recognition at the continental level.

International teams will compete with an entry fee of US$1000 per team, while Malaysian teams enjoy a local entry of only RM250. Selected local teams may even enter for free. This championship is more than just a competition—it is a celebration of teamwork, strength, and international camaraderie against the breathtaking backdrop of Langkawi’s beaches.
